I've been involved in healthcare since 1990 as a Paramedic and a Registered Nurse. Spent 10 years working on a BK-117 helicopter as a Flight Paramedic and Flight RN for a busy air ambulance service. When I needed a tool in the field it had to work properly the first time, every time.

That experience is what drives my knifemaking.

I've been a part-time knifemaker since April, 2009.

Some of my designs I have water jet cut (the profile shape of the knife is cut out) and some are hand-profiled. Each knife is hand-ground and hand-finished by me. All sheaths and accessories are made here in my shop as well. In addition, I heat treat and croygenically treat all of my knives.
